During the session Data for Good Tableau Viz Showcase, a discussion leveraging data for social impact held at Berkeley College on March 6, 2019, Faraz Ahmed, Data Scientist, New York City Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics, gave the opening remarks, and Tanu Javeri, Senior Global SEO Strategist for IBM, delivered the keynote address.

The Hip-Hop Symposium at Berkeley College provided the opportunity for students and faculty to address important social issues, especially called forth in today’s field of hip-hop entertainment. Prior to the Symposium, students, faculty and staff had the opportunity to view the 2006 documentary “Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes.” This was one of numerous Berkeley College activities held in celebration of Black History Month.
