Regional Director, New Jersey Small Business Development Center

 

Tendai Ndoro, PhD, serves as Regional Director for the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Rutgers University – Newark, Rutgers Business School (RBS) and the NJSBDC statewide network. As Regional Director, she has designed, developed and implemented innovative programs like the Women Entrepreneurs Networking (WEN) Breakfast; Small Business Contracts and Capital-Sourcing Expo; Small Business Cyber Security Program; and the RBS/SBDC Student Experiential Learning Program, where accounting, management and marketing business students gain experiential learning as they solve problems for small businesses.

 

Dr. Ndoro has received numerous awards for her leadership and work as a global economic development expert, including the 2014 America’s Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC) National State Star Award; the 2013 Top Women in Power Impacting Diversity; the 2012 New Jersey Garden State Woman of the Year – Global Impact Award; and the 50 Women of Power in Business recognition by the Minority Enterprise Advocate.
