WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK 2018

Oslene Johnson
Berkeley College Student

Oslene Johnson is a Marketing Communications student in the Honors Program at Berkeley College.

On campus, she is an active member of the Student Government Association at Berkeley College in White Plains, and has served as a Student Ambassador for the Global Educational Alliance Program, which gives students from China the opportunity to study at Berkeley College. She works as an Office Assistant for the Berkeley College Office of Student Development and Campus Life. Her interests include business, legal studies, politics and social issues that impact underprivileged communities.

Outside of Berkeley College, Ms. Oslene focuses her efforts on the passage of the Civil Rights Cold Case Records Collection Act, a piece of legislation that she drafted with classmates focusing on the number of civil rights cases that remain obscured for legal reasons. The legislation is currently under consideration in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

After graduating from Berkeley College, Ms. Johnson hopes to earn MBA and JD degrees simultaneously, combining her interests in business and law.
