President, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce
Jessica Walker is the President of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. She is a public policy expert who has advocated on behalf of New York City residents, neighborhoods and businesses for more than 15 years. Before joining the Chamber in 2016, Ms. Walker served as Vice President for Government Affairs at the Partnership for New York City, which represents the City’s major corporate employers. Prior to that, Ms. Walker was a leading advocate for elderly New Yorkers, holding positions with the New York Academy of Medicine and United Neighborhood Houses of New York, where she led research, advocacy and policy work on issues relating to older adults and their social service needs. In 2006, Ms. Walker received the Young Nonprofiteer of the Year award from the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. She was raised on the Navajo Indian reservation in New Mexico, attended Princeton University, and is now a proud resident of Harlem.
