Students and Staff from Berkeley College in Brooklyn Volunteer for Charity at the Color Run

Photo Caption: In mid-October, Berkeley College students and staff volunteered for the Fall 2014 Brooklyn Color Run at Aviator Sports Center in Brooklyn, NY. The event supported the Children’s Cancer and Blood Foundation, the oldest and largest charitable organization in the United States dedicated to the care of children with cancer and blood disorders. “It was great to have our students participate in the Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5K on the Planet,” said Sherrille Shabazz, Berkeley College Assistant Dean, Student Development and Campus Life,  Brooklyn. “It’s an unusual painting race that celebrates good health, happiness, individuality and giving back to the community.” Pictured (L to R) Ms. Shabazz and student Justin Lopez of Brooklyn.
