SECURITY PROFESSIONALS TO REFLECT ON PREPARATION FOR
SUPER BOWL XLVII DURING SEMINAR HOSTED BY BERKELEY COLLEGE
Berkeley College invites law enforcement and security professionals to go behind-the-scenes at MetLife Stadium to learn about the complex efforts undertaken to prepare for Super Bowl XLVIII. “Protecting Critical Infrastructure – Monday Morning Quarterback: Lessons from the Big Game” will be held Thursday, May 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
The seminar is free to students and educators, business and security professionals, and law enforcement.
Speakers include professionals from NJ TRANSIT, New Jersey State Police, the New York City Police Department Counterterrorism Bureau, and the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, among others. The program will close with a tour of MetLife Stadium.
According to Ron Hurley, Berkeley College Director of Public Safety, the seminar is important because it promotes awareness and strengthens public-private partnerships, both of which are critical to continued safety and security.
