RECEIVES BERKELEY COLLEGE FACULTY OF THE YEAR AWARD

Rosemarie McLaughlin, Accounting and Finance, Larry L. Luing School of Business, received the Mary J. Clerkin Award for Innovation in Online Teaching Faculty award during a dinner reception held at Battery Gardens on November 3, 2016, in Manhattan, NY. A resident of Basking Ridge, NJ, Ms. McLaughlin was among 18 Berkeley College faculty members and fellow professionals who were recognized by students and colleagues for their contributions to student-centered learning in exceptional ways.

“These annual awards recognize faculty members who serve as role models in demonstrating commitment to the success of Berkeley College students,” said Beth M. Castiglia, PhD, Provost, Berkeley College. “We know they are successful because of their love of teaching. The feedback from their students and colleagues reflect this.”  

“I teach because I like to share my knowledge with students with the hope that they are able to find a fulfilling career after graduation,” Ms. McLaughlin said.
