Hani Shihada Berkeley

Photo Caption: Renowned New York-based chalk artist Hani Shihada created a portrait to honor Michael J. Smith, President of Berkeley College, on the day of his Inauguration in Woodland Park, NJ. The portrait depicts the 2016 Commencement ceremony. Pictured (L to R) are Kevin L. Luing, Board Chairman; graduate Jeison Martinez, Student of the Year; President Smith; and Dallas Reed, PhD, Vice President, Student Development and Campus Life. The portrait will be displayed at the campus in Woodland Park. In October 2015, Mr. Shihada worked on a piece of street art outside Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Berkeley College and its role in helping students graduate to a better future. Click here to read that story.
