PROSPECT PARK STUDENT RECEIVES HUGO WALTER AWARD FOR
ACHIEVEMENT IN LITERATURE COURSES FROM BERKELEY COLLEGE ONLINE
Berkeley College is proud to announce that Lauren Eliot of Prospect Park in Passaic County, NJ, has been named a recipient of the 2009 Hugo Walter Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Online Literature Courses. Ms. Eliot completed her degree through Berkeley College Online.
Hugo Walter, PhD, instructor of English and Humanities at Berkeley College, established the award to celebrate the extraordinary academic work of students in Berkeley College Online courses including World Literature, European Literature, American Literature, Poetry, Drama, and Fiction.
“Teaching in the Berkeley College Online program has been the most enjoyable experience of my career. This award recognizes students like Lauren who have helped make the experience so rewarding,” said Dr. Walter.
