Berkeley College was ranked Third Best Accounting Degree Program in the State of New Jersey  in a reader survey by NJBIZ, a leading business journal. With more than 120,000 votes cast and featuring over 50 categories, the NJBIZ Reader Rankings identified leaders across businesses and industries chosen by New Jersey business owners, clients and colleagues.

“We are gratified that our efforts to provide a high quality Accounting program for our students have been justified with this recognition,” said Claudia R. Tyska, PhD, CPA, Chair, Accounting and Finance, Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business®.

Accounting professionals are critical to the success of virtually every company and organization. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Outlook Handbook, Accounts and Auditors, there will be a high demand for careers in accounting, with a continued 10 percent growth through 2026. The best job opportunities in the industry will be for accountants and auditors who have an accounting degree and CPA license.

NJBIZ evaluated businesses during an open voting process across banking finance and insurance; education; employment; general business; healthcare and pharmaceuticals; hospitality and entertainment; philanthropy and corporate development; professional series; and real estate.
