The Berkeley College School of Professional Studies Interior Design Department teamed up recently with the New York Jets to create a fan cave makeover for lifelong fan and season ticket holder Brian DeVito of Warren, NJ. The renovation and design aired as a featured segment October 6, 2018, on JetsLife, a CBS-TV program that takes an inside look at the Jets on and off the field.
Mr. DeVito, whose lifelong kinship with the Jets began as a youngster, thoroughly enjoys the tailgate experiences he shares during the home games. With his newly designed fan cave, the environment in which he enjoys away games has risen to a new level. “I am never going to leave. I will be here for every away game,” he said.
“The Berkeley College Interior Design program offers students the opportunity to have hands-on experience in a number of projects that range from restaurants to lobby spaces as well as rooms in residential buildings,” said Alfonso Torino, Chair, Interior Design, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies. “This Jets project provided a fun approach to showcasing the talents of our faculty, graduates and students.”
