The group (left to right) included Michael J. Smith, President; Elana Zolfo, EdD, Dean, Larry L. Luing School of Business®; Berkeley College students Juan Rosado and Jasmine Griffin, Kevin L. Luing, Board Chairman; Dallas Reed, PhD, Vice President, Student Development and Campus Life; Amy Soricelli, Vice President, Career Services; and Ted Halveka, Campus Operating Officer.

Council Member Powers
told students he was most interested in working toward reducing college debt, completion and preparing New York City’s workforce. “The pipeline to filling jobs ideally is for people in our own backyard,” he said. “I am always willing to work together (with Berkeley College) on opportunities for the future of our workforce.

Ms. Griffin remarked that the College is responsive to student suggestions. “The fact that students could be at this table, and that we matter here, says a lot about Berkeley College,” she said. Mr. Rosado noted, “Everybody is open to helping you here. There is always room to grow.”
