MORRIS COUNTY RESIDENTS HONORED AS BERKELEY COLLEGE
SCHOOL OF HEALTH STUDIES PINS GRADUATES
The Berkeley College School of Health Studies recently conducted a pinning ceremony to honor graduates entering the fields of Practical Nursing and Patient Care Technology. Residents of Morris County, NJ, received pins.
Michael J. Smith, President of Berkeley College, gave the welcome address and pointed out the changes the students have made in their own lives. “We are proud of each of our graduates,” he said. “We are proud of the fact that you will be representing Berkeley College as you embark on your careers – you will carry the skills and values that represent the Berkeley College traditions of excellence in teaching and learning and service to the community.”
The following graduates from Morris County received pins:
- Chicku Paul of Dover, Practical Nurse
- Khadijah Coridian Pinckney of Hackettstown, Practical Nurse
- Carmen Puno of Dover, Practical Nurse
The Berkeley College School of Health Studies was created to provide career-focused education in some of today’s most in-demand healthcare professions – in clinical specializations, as well as healthcare administration and management. Practical Nurse graduates provide care to their patients in a variety of healthcare environments, including physicians’ offices, clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and home healthcare settings.
