MORE THAN 130 CHILDREN IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY WILL RECEIVE GIFTS FROM BERKELEY COLLEGE TOY DRIVE

Photo Caption: Many children will delight in the toys gathered by Berkeley College this year, according to Nina Inzinna, Volunteer and Community Outreach Manager at Lifting Up Westchester. “Without their help, only a fraction of our kids would have a toy to open,” she said. The Enrollment Services Department at Berkeley College in White Plains, NY, is making a difference for the children served by Lifting Up Westchester. Their Berkeley College Toy Drive collected 137 gifts which were donated on December 16. Pictured (L-R) are Nancy Inzinna; Volunteer and Community Outreach Manager, Lifting Up Westchester; Jeannine Ferguson, Senior Director; Rhesa Browne, Staff Development Assistant; and Trisha Farmer, Vice President, all of Berkeley College Enrollment Services. More than 200 children participate in Lifting Up Westchester’s Brighter Futures Mentoring, Rainbow, and Housing programs. The mission of Lifting Up Westchester (Formerly Grace Community Center) is to assist Westchester County’s neediest and most at-risk residents, especially those who are under-served by other resources.
