WHAT: The Berkeley College School of Health Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.
The 7,000-square-foot space provides a comprehensive learning environment dedicated to supporting the future workforce of healthcare professionals.

The ceremony will feature students and alumni of the Berkeley College School of Health Studies speaking about the impact that the health-related programs have had on their path toward a career in the healthcare field.

Senior administrators expected to deliver remarks include:

  • Eva Skuka, MD, PhD, Dean, Berkeley College School of Health Studies
  • Josiane Hickson, EdD, RN-BC, NE-BC, Chair, Practical Nurse and Patient Care Technician programs, Berkeley College School of Health Studies
  • Joseph Charleman CST, CSFA, CRCST, LPN, Chair, Surgical Technology and Surgical Processing Technician programs, Berkeley College School of Health Studies

This event is an opportunity to obtain visually arresting photographs and compelling interviews with students, alumni and senior administrators.

The new facilities at Berkeley College in Woodland Park include nine teaching laboratories, staff offices, and faculty work stations. The labs are used to teach students enrolled in the Medical Assistant, Practical Nurse, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Processing Technician, and Surgical Technology programs. Berkeley College in Woodland Park also offers an accelerated program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees in less than three years. The facilities are located adjacent to Renaissance Hall, a modern hub for campus activities, student resources and amenities, and student services such as the Library and Center for Academic Success.
