Valdes; and Assemblywoman Nellie Pou (D-35th) at the 2nd Annual Women’s Leadership Panel hosted by Berkeley College on March 19. More than 100 Berkeley College students and associates, politicians and business and community leaders attended. “The distinguished leaders provided us with valuable insights regarding their journey, the difficulties along the way, the need for the delicate balancing act between professional and personal obligations, and their vision for the future,” said Ms. Duda. “That future vision includes encouraging and mentoring young women to become leaders in the world of politics and public service, thereby bringing their unique perspective to this world.”
