A resident of Yonkers, Ms. Conits has 25 years of corporate experience and currently serves as Director of Public Affairs at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. With 960 properties in 97 countries, and approximately 145,000 employees, Starwood is a leader in the hotel and leisure industry.

Ms. Conits plays a pivotal leadership role in philanthropy at Starwood’s headquarters in White Plains, NY. She also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador in the local community and is a member of the 2009 Board of Directors for the Business Council of Westchester.

Ms. Conits’ debut into the corporate world began with a Berkeley internship at the ITT Corporation World Headquarters in New York City. There she gained experience in the Human Resources and Shareholder Investor Relations divisions. ITT was acquired by Starwood in 1998.

“Berkeley’s executive internship program and business curriculum provided me with invaluable experience and the necessary tools and advanced education to succeed as a student and to commence my journey into the corporate world,” says Ms. Conits.
