Berkeley College celebrated the start of its fall semester by welcoming Honey German, on-air personality, digital content producer and music coordinator at radio station Power 105.1, to its campus in Midtown Manhattan, NY.

During her visit on September 6, 2017, Ms. German addressed students taking the course “Consumer Behavior,” taught by Professor Brian Moore, Marketing, Berkeley College Larry L. “You can’t just be one dimensional if you want to work at a big multimedia company,” Ms. German said. “Whatever is thrown at you, do it … Always be open minded.”

Ms. German also emphasized the important role digital content plays in all forms of media. “It’s all about digital right now,” she said. “Even radio is transferring over to digital … Most people are consuming radio, movies and shows either over their phone or their computers.”

The on-air personality and producer also met with students during the fall 2017 Club Day fair at the Midtown Manhattan campus, giving students a chance to discover resources available to them at Berkeley College. While continuing to share insight into her career in multimedia with students at the fair, Ms. German also raffled tickets to Power 105.1’s annual Powerhouse concert.
