BERKELEY COLLEGE WELCOMES DIGNITARIES AT 6TH ANNUAL UNDER THE TENT EVENT, HONORS BOROUGH OF WOODLAND PARK

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Renaissance Hall, Berkeley College hosted the 6th annual Under the Tent event, which welcomed area dignitaries and chambers of commerce for an evening of jazz music, food and networking. This year, the College presented Mayor Keith Kazmark with a plaque in recognition of the Woodland Park Centennial.

Berkeley College has developed a mutually supportive relationship with the Borough of Woodland Park since its move to Garret Mountain from East Orange in 1976. The College sponsored the purchase of town signs when voters elected to change the Borough’s name from West Paterson in 2009, has sponsored many of the town’s events over the years, and took part in the Woodland Park Centennial parade and celebration earlier this year.

“Berkeley College is truly a part of the fabric and the family of the borough we now call Woodland Park,” said Mr. Kazmark.

A leader in providing career-focused education since 1931, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls approximately 8,000 students – including more than 900 international students – in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree and Certificate programs. The College has six New Jersey locations – Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge, Newark, Clifton and Dover. In New York there are three locations – Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains. Berkeley College Online® serves a global population. Programs are offered in more than 20 career fields in the Larry L. Luing School of Business, the School of Professional Studies, the School of Health Studies, and the School of Liberal Arts. The website address is www.BerkeleyCollege.edu.
