BERKELEY COLLEGE TELEVISION COMMERCIALS WIN
MARCOM PLATINUM AWARD
Berkeley College is proud to announce it has received the 2013 MarCom Platinum Award for its recent television campaign. According to the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which administers the award, approximately 6,500 entries worldwide competed for recognition in various categories.
The Platinum Award places Berkeley College in the highest category for marketing communications effectiveness. Competitive entries were submitted by renowned media organizations, public relations and advertising agencies, and the corporate marketing and communications departments of major firms and Fortune 50 companies.
The award honors the current Berkeley College television campaign, consisting of commercials titled “Successful Careers” and “What’s in the Name.”
“Successful Careers” highlights Berkeley College alumni who are leaders and excel in various fields, including in the marketing, financial and nonprofit sectors.
“What’s in the Name” addresses the valuable relationships Berkeley College Career Counselors have developed and maintain with such organizations as Pfizer, Modell’s Sporting Goods, and the Legal Aid Society, to name a few. These contacts build opportunities for internships and placements, giving Berkeley College students an edge in a competitive job market.
