BERKELEY COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM PASSAIC COUNTY PASS

ERTIFIED PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT EXAM

 

Residents of Passaic County, NJ, recently passed the Certified Patient Care Technician Assistant (CPCT-A) exam.

“Patient Care Technicians are important members of the healthcare team, working closely with doctors and nurses to monitor and care for patients,” said Joan Zarra, RN, Interim Chair, Nursing and Patient Care Technician programs, Berkeley College School of Health Studies. “We are proud that our students are well prepared to make positive contributions to the healthcare field.”

The following residents from Passaic County have passed the exam:

- Juana Cerda of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Kimberly Diaz of Passaic, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Brianna Drakeford-Crockett of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Davon Galan of Prospect Park, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Christian Gomero of Haledon, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Jafreysi Hernandez of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Erica Jones of Paterson, currently enrolled in the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Lesly Martinez of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Maribel Mendez of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Vanessa Rodriguez of Paterson, currently enrolled in the Health Sciences program
- Penelope Sanchez of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Angel Santiago of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Sharlin Sierra of Passaic, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Ana Vega of Passaic, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program
- Taylor Williams of Paterson, a graduate of the Multi-Level Patient Care Technician program

Graduates of the Patient Care Technician and Health Sciences programs at Berkeley College are certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and are eligible to sit for the CPCT-A exam, as well as the Certified Electrocardiography and Certified Phlebotomy exams. Patient Care Technicians are prepared to work in a variety of healthcare environments, including hospitals, mental health facilities and rehabilitation centers.
