BERKELEY COLLEGE STUDENT FROM CONGERS PARTICIPATES
IN LIBRARY OF CONGRESS VETERANS HISTORY PROJECT
Berkeley College is proud to announce that Bradley Bateman of Congers in Rockland County, NY, has participated in the Veterans History Project sponsored by the Library of Congress. Mr. Bateman, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, recently was honored at a gala held by Berkeley College and the Newark Museum to celebrate Veterans of the Armed Forces. He attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.
In 2000, the United States Congress established the Veterans History Project in order to collect, preserve and archive personal accounts of American service members so that future generations will be able to hear directly from the veterans and better understand the realities of war. In a video that will be submitted to the Library of Congress, Berkeley College student veterans spoke about personal experiences during their military training and deployment.
