Berkeley College is proud to announce that Sandra M. Kuczynski was awarded an Online Learning Scholarship in celebration of 10 years of excellence in online learning at Berkeley College. To qualify for the scholarship, full-time students had to have completed at least three quarters which included enrollment in a minimum of two online courses, and maintained a grade point average of 3.0. In addition, applicants had to submit an essay describing how online learning had enhanced their educational experience.
Online students at Berkeley College benefit from close relationships to and guidance from outstanding faculty members; librarians and library resources; staff professionals in student development, advisement, and career services; and student mentors.
“Through online class work, I have interacted with people from all over the world, expanding my cultural understanding, and there is no repaying the self-instilled confidence,” Ms. Kuczynski says of her distance learning experience. “Furthermore, every skill acquired becomes applicable to the working world. Online learning has changed my life for the better!"
