BERKELEY COLLEGE ONLINE PROMOTES NATIONAL DISTANCE LEARNING WEEK
NEW YORK, NY - Outside the TODAY show studios this morning at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City the eager Berkeley College Online community stood, decked out in their blue-with-white imprinted sweatshirts. They carried global beach balls and held high a banner that read: Berkeley College Online Celebrates National Distance Learning Week. Their early morning efforts were rewarded when Al Roker, NBC Weatherman, asked Sharon Goldstein, Campus Operating Officer, Berkeley College Online, what it was all about.
“We’re celebrating National Distance Learning Week,” shouted Ms. Goldstein.
The United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) awarded USDLA/Quality Standards (QS) certification to Berkeley College Online™ in June, 2013. As Berkeley College is one of the first colleges or universities worldwide to receive USDLA/QS certification, this places Berkeley College Online among an elite group of institutions recognized for excellence in distance learning.
