BERKELEY COLLEGE OFFERS BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
IN DESIGN MANAGEMENT IN WOODLAND PARK, NJ

Berkeley College is pleased to announce a new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Design Management in Woodland Park, NJ. The program is accepting enrollment for the Spring Quarter, which begins in April 2015.

“The BBA degree program is timely for today’s market because it teaches strategy, communications, marketing and technology,” said Alfonso Torino, PhD, Chair, Interior Design, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies.

“Our students will get a solid background in both design and management,” added Carlos Cruz, Chair, Graphic Design, Berkeley College School of Professional Studies. “Graduates with degrees in Design Management will be able to start their own businesses, manage creative people and projects, and market new products and services.”

The curriculum emphasizes business principles while working in the fields of graphic design and interior design. Students will first study how to manage the creative process within corporate and entrepreneurial organizations, then learn project management skills specializing in either graphic design or interior design; ultimately, they will be able to develop and present their own innovative projects. All students complete internships prior to graduation, working with Berkeley College career counselors to identify opportunities that are best suited to their interests and chosen career fields.

A leader in providing career-focused education since 1931, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls approximately 8,000 students – including more than 900 international students – in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree and Certificate programs. The College has six New Jersey locations – Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge, Newark, Clifton and Dover. In New York there are three locations – Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains.
