Photo Caption: Berkeley College held a Memorial Day ceremony at the Midtown Manhattan location on May 30, 2013. The observance featured the folding of an American flag to remember fallen soldiers and recognized the more than 500 Berkeley College students and staff members who served in the Armed Forces. The ceremony also commemorated Memorial Day with the grand re-opening of the Veterans Resource Center at the New York City location. Left to right are student veterans Jose Gomez and Matteo Bonomo. Mr. Bonomo also recently participated in the Veterans History Project, of the Library of Congress, which helps to contribute information to collect, preserve, and archive personal accounts of American service members for future generations to hear directly from the veterans and better understand the realities of war.
