On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced its 2015 National Soccer Tournament. The Berkeley College New York Men’s Soccer team – which earned an automatic bid to compete for a National crown by winning the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship – will enter as the No. 4 seeded team. The Berkeley College Knights will take on No. 5 seed Concordia College Alabama on Thursday, November 5, at 2:00 p.m.

This year’s tournament, hosted by Warren Wilson College, will take place in Asheville, N.C.

“Our team has put together a tremendous season, and to see these student-athletes be rewarded with a chance to compete for a USCAA National title is extremely gratifying,” Stavros Zompolous, Berkeley College Head Coach, said. “I am very proud of this group for their accomplishments, and I cannot say enough good things about what they’ve done this year. I feel that we are ready for the challenge of taking on some of the best teams that the USCAA has to offer.”

Should Berkeley College claim victory on Thursday, the Knights would advance to play one of three teams on Friday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. – either No. 1-seeded Bryant & Stratton College-Syracuse, No. 8-seeded College of St. Joseph (Vermont), or No. 9-seeded The State University of New York (SUNY) at Delhi. Click here to see the entire 2015 USCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship bracket.
