BERKELEY COLLEGE HOSTS QUALITY MATTERS REGIONAL
CONFERENCE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE IN EDUCATION
Learning, Connecting, and Sharing Ways to Improve Outcomes for Students
New York---Quality Matters (QM), a leader in quality assurance for online education, will hold its Regional Conference themed, “A Quality State of Mind,” in New York City at Berkeley College on March 17 – 18, 2016. With a keynote presentation by MJ Bishop, EdD, Director of the William E. Kirwan Center for Academic Innovation for the University System of Maryland, the event features more than 30 workshop sessions. Dr. Bishop will present “Breaking Free from the Iron Triangle by Rethinking Technology’s Role in Transforming Higher Education.”
Deb Adair, Executive Director of Quality Matters explained, “The opportunity to learn from one another about innovative and meaningful ways to improve the learning experience and outcomes for our students is the takeaway for us. We’ll see what QM looks like at different institutions and discuss effective tools and practices for designing engaging and high quality courses.”
