McCormac of Woodbridge poses with Catherine Palmer, Campus Operating Officer of Berkeley College, Woodbridge, at the first annual Under the Tent event. “Berkeley College stands as the educational cornerstone in Woodbridge Township and is a valuable resource for local businesses, residents and students.  The recent ‘Under the Tent’ event illustrates the synergies between education and business in preparing the workforce of the future,” said Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac. Attended by about 100 local businesspeople, Under the Tent was hosted by Berkeley College, in partnership with the Edison, Gateway Regional, Greater Elizabeth, Middlesex County, and Woodbridge Chambers of Commerce, and the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey. This event brings business organizations together for an evening of networking and exchanging of ideas on how to move businesses forward in Middlesex and Union counties, and the State of New Jersey.
