BERKELEY COLLEGE HONORS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES SOMERSET SCHOLAR 
FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK 
AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE 

 

 

Photo Caption: Berkeley College Honors Scholar Lois Lezuabah (center) of Somerset, NJ, received the 2015 Honors Service Award and the 2015 Honorable Mention for Honors Academic Award at the Berkeley College Honors Program Ceremony held at the Chart House in Weehawken, NJ, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. The award recognizes a scholar who completes an outstanding thesis, has shown a commitment to service in his or her community, and consistently demonstrates exceptional academic achievement. The thesis by Ms. Lezuabah was titled “Wearable Health Technology – the Good, the Bad, the Ugly: What Are the Health Implications?” She donated time to volunteer preaching work and participated in walk-a-thons such as the Children’s Specialized Hospital’s Walk N Roll 5K. Ms. Lezuabah is pictured with Donald Kieffer (left), PhD, Dean, Berkeley College School of Liberal Arts, and Byron Hargrove, PhD, Director, Honors Program, and Faculty, Humanities and Social Services, Berkeley College School of Liberal Arts.
