Join the Conversation: @BerkeleyCollege #BerkeleyKnights #News Berkeley Berkeley College honored more than 100 student-athletes during the Fifth Annual Athletics Banquet, held on May 1, 2018, at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ. Twenty-three athletes received special recognition for their athletic prowess, team spirit, or improvement during the season. Kyle Cruz received the Most Improved Player Award for Women’s Tennis, and Joshua Williams received the Most Improved Runner Award for Men’s Cross-Country. Both student-athletes are residents of Manhattan, NY. Andy DeStephano, Director of Athletics, congratulated the student-athletes on their hard work and persistence. “Regardless of our challenges, we still find a way to succeed,” Mr. Stephano said. “We still find a way to win and we do it with grace and dignity.”
