Berkeley College honored more than 100 student-athletes during the Fifth Annual Athletics Banquet, held on May 1, 2018, at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ. Twenty-three athletes received special recognition for their athletic prowess, team spirit, or improvement during the season.

Albert Jordan received the Coach’s Award for Men’s Cross-Country, Marcos Leon was a co-recipient of the Rookie of the Year Award for Men’s Soccer, and Teyvon Bussey received the Coach’s Award for Men’s Basketball. The student-athletes are residents of the Bronx, NY.

Andy DeStephano, Director of Athletics, congratulated the student-athletes on their hard work and persistence.

“Regardless of our challenges, we still find a way to succeed,” Mr. Stephano said. “We still find a way to win and we do it with grace and dignity.”
