Berkeley College recently honored the 2012 Associates of the Year.

The Associate of the Year Award in Customer Service recognizes individuals who show personal responsibility and daily effort through their work. Recipients are:
- Amy Soricelli, Senior Director, Career Services
- Honorable Mention: Lorraine Meyer, Executive Assistant, Marketing

The Associate of the Year Award in Adaptability recognizes individuals who continue to thrive through change. Recipients are:
- Juli Wood, Dean, Advisement, Woodland Park
- Honorable Mention: Katherine Wu, Personal Counselor, Student Development and Campus Life, Berkeley College Online

The Associate of the Year Award in Excellence recognizes individuals who are committed to and produce the best achievable results. Recipients are:
- Sunder Nagarajan, Senior Programmer Analyst, Information Systems
- Honorable Mention: Denise Homeyer, Project Manager, President’s Office

The Associate of the Year Award in Innovation recognizes individuals who have instituted or championed something new that has had a positive impact on the success of Berkeley College. Recipients are:

- Leslin Charles, Associate Director, Library
- Honorable Mention: Kristin Comeforo, PhD, Instructor, Marketing, Larry L. Luing School of Business

The Associate of the Year Award in Leadership recognizes individuals who inspire others to achieve the mission of Berkeley College. Recipients are:
- Dallas Reed, PhD, Dean, Student Development and Campus Life
- Honorable Mention: Theresa Bryant, Interim Director, Financial Aid, New York City

The Student-Centered Associate of the Year Award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to serve Berkeley College students. Recipients are:
- Nicole Turnbull, Director, Multicultural and Community Affairs and Director, Student Development and Campus Life, New York City
- Honorable Mention: Byron Hargrove, PhD, Instructor, Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and Director, Honors Program

The Associate of the Year Award in Teamwork recognizes groups that work cooperatively and supportively with others to attain team goals. Recipients are:
- Ross Miller, EdD, Assistant Vice President, Assessment and Institutional Research, Institutional Effectiveness
- Honorable Mention: Office of Military and Veterans Affairs – Richard E. Robitaille, EdD, Assistant Vice President; Rachel D’Alessandro, Director; Tami Maurer, Associate Director; Nicole Kebea, Veterans Affairs Administrator; and Frank Colavita, Coordinator
