'HIT A HOME RUN TO CAREER SUCCESS'

Photo Caption: Berkeley College students came to network and learn about job opportunities at a career fair in Woodland Park, NJ, on May 18, 2017.  More than 65 students attended the event to hear about positions at companies that included New York Life Insurance, PNC Bank, Valley National Bank and Prospanica, the Association of Hispanic Professionals.  Jairo Borja, Director, Business Development, Berkeley College, said, “Early on, I told the students this career fair is an opportunity not to be missed.  Employers are here seeking talent, so stop by each table, ask questions and soak in as much information as possible.  After all, this is a chance to hit a home run to career success.” Guest speaker Evelyn Gellar, Vice President and Sales Manager, Empire Wealth Strategies, told the students to take a good look at their talents and interests.  She spoke about choosing the field of finance because it was her dream job, and she encouraged the students to find their dream jobs, too.
