BERKELEY COLLEGE FASHION DEPARTMENT SPONSORS
‘UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL’ WITH DESIGNER DANIEL VOSOVIC

Fashion designer Daniel Vosovic will make a special appearance this Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 pm at The New York Times Company building auditorium, sponsored by the Fashion Department of the Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business. Mr. Vosovic will speak to his New York-based label Daniel Vosovic and his experience as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s coveted Fashion Incubator Program as well advise on how to start a business in today’s market, finding your niche and defining your place in the fashion industry.

After appearing on the television show Project Runway at age 24, Mr. Vosovic’s career began to take off as he pursued an array of opportunities including penning his first book about the industry titled “Fashion Inside Out,” launching his own collections and dressing celebrities for red carpet appearances. “My designs have a young sensibility, regardless of age, regardless of body type,” says Mr. Vosovic. “I love the fact that I have both Elizabeth McGovern and Emma Stone wearing my designs.”

“We wanted to host Daniel Vosovic because he has a love and passion for this industry and he has earned a distinguished reputation in his already impressive career,” said Joshua Williams, Chair, Fashion, Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business. “He can meaningfully discuss what it takes to move your career forward – his work is inspiring.”
