Luing School of Business®, served as the Faculty Speaker during the Berkeley College Commencement ceremony, held on May 11, 2018, at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. More than 2,300 students received Certificates, Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

Dr. Trowers-Bell, a resident of Brooklyn, NY, acknowledged how much she has learned through her interactions with Berkeley College students. She encouraged the graduates to tell their own stories. “In life we do things, some we wish we had never done and some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads,” Dr. Trowers-Bell said. “They shape every detail about you. If you were to reverse any of them, you would not be the person you are today. So enjoy every moment of this wonderful journey we call life, have wonderful memories, and never, ever second-guess yourself.”

As Chair of Health Services at Berkeley College, Dr. Trowers-Bell manages faculty, develops curricula, and works to achieve department goals. As a professor, she teaches both on site and online. In addition to being an educator, Dr. Trowers-Bell is a published author. She has many years of healthcare management experience working in administration and as a consultant.

Dr. Trowers-Bell received a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University, a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration from New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University.
