Berkeley College has extended its exhibit of the artwork of Zachary Agee through January 31, 2015.  The display at the Midtown Manhattan Gallery, 3 East 43rd Street, New York City, can be viewed Monday through Friday—from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm—and on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Relatively new to the art world, Mr. Agee is a freelance artist who is rapidly building a following among his peers.  He is a recent graduate of East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  The artist said he looks toward a future glazed with the colors and patterns of optimism, anticipated social liberation and a determination to celebrate living.  Those are the things he tries to reflect in his art.

“Mr. Agee’s artwork, which has been on display since December 1, was met with excitement by so many of our visitors, so we decided to extend his exhibit through January,” said Robert Keiber, Berkeley College Curator, Midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn galleries. “I know we’ll be seeing great work from him over the next few years.”

The artist has shown his work in exhibits that include the Art Room, Greensboro, NC; Wellington B. Gray Gallery, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC; Rebel Art Show at Emerge, Greenville, NC; and the Greensboro College Art Gallery, NC.

For more information about the exhibit, e-mail Robert Keiber, Curator, Midtown Manhattan and Brooklyn galleries, at or call 212-252-2065.
