Caption: The Berkeley College community surpassed its 20,000,000-step goal on July 24, 2018, a goal set to celebrate 20 Years of Excellence Online. The Berkeley College Online® Charity Miles Team, which is comprised of 283 students, faculty, family, and staff members, logged 10,000 miles of walking, biking, and running. Charity Miles is an app that donates real money to charities that are selected by individuals on the team. Team members will continue to track their activities throughout the remainder of this 20th Year of Online Learning.

Berkeley College Online has named 2018 The Year of Giving as the College celebrates 20 years of distance learning at Berkeley College. Each month Berkeley College chooses an activity that aligns with Berkeley Cares, which seeks to empower the Berkeley College community to positively impact society. Recent charitable activities included messages of hope in the 2018 Hearts of Hope summer campaign for seriously ill children at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a collection of more than 100 items for Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch in West Caldwell, NJ.
