Photo Caption: Leonard De Botton, Chief Information Officer, Information Systems, Berkeley College, is a contributing author to the 2017 Leadership Board for CIOs in Higher Education Survey, which was published by The Chronicle of Higher Education in October 2017. The goal of the survey is to provide CIOs with key metrics to help them do the work of managing and planning information technology for their institutions. In the 2017 survey, more than half of all CIOs polled indicated that phishing attacks on campus are more difficult to manage and require additional software, training and policies. The survey also described the challenges to balance the global reach of technology with security. Representatives from colleges and universities nationwide contributed to the publication. In addition to his work with the Leadership Board for CIOs in Higher Education, Mr. De Botton, is a Board of Trustee at NJEdge, and has presented at Educuase, Blackboard, LBCIO and NJEdge conferences. He is a resident of Berkeley Heights, NJ.
