BERKELEY COLLEGE BROOKLYN CAMPUS GAINS APPROVAL
FROM NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Berkeley College is pleased to announce that the Board of Regents of the New York State Education Department has approved its application for a new campus in Brooklyn, NY. The Brooklyn Campus, located at 255 Duffield Street in the downtown business district, is now open and will offer Bachelor’s degree programs to students beginning in January.
“Berkeley College is proud to open a campus in Brooklyn,” said Berkeley College President Dario A. Cortes, PhD. “This campus will continue to strengthen our community partnerships and offer access not only to a great undergraduate teaching and learning experience, but also to excellent career preparation for our future workforce.”
The newly renovated 25,000 square feet of space at the Berkeley College Brooklyn Campus offers access to a variety of state-of-the-art facilities. These include wireless computer access, modern classrooms, computer labs and a library, mathematics and writing labs in the Academic Support Center, a bookstore, student lounge, and many other student services. Staff members are available on-site to conduct tours and help prospective students and families with the admission process.
A leader in business education for 79 years, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls more than 8,000 students — including 665 international students — in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College has four New York locations — Midtown Manhattan, Lower Manhattan in the Wall Street area, Brooklyn, and White Plains. And in New Jersey there are four locations — Woodland Park (formerly West Paterson), Paramus, Woodbridge, and Newark. Berkeley College Online also offers full degree programs. Programs are offered in more than 20 career fields. The website address is www.BerkeleyCollege.edu.
