Berkeley College is proud to announce that junior forward Milan Germany of southern Bronx, NY, has received athletic honors from the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) for women’s basketball. Ms. Germany attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.

Ms. Germany was named HVWAC Rookie of the Week during the week of February 12 for her performance in a game against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, during which she posted two double-doubles and made a crucial steal and assist.

She also was named to the HVWAC Honor Roll during the week of February 5 for her performance in a game against NHTI (formerly New Hampshire Technical Institute), during which she scored 22 points and had 13 rebounds and five steals.

“We are extremely proud of Milan for these well-deserved recognitions,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “Her outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from her at Berkeley.”
