BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM JERSEY CITY RECEIVES ALL-AMERICAN HONORS
FROM UNITED STATES COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
Berkeley College is proud to announce that senior guard Gary Williams Jr. of Jersey City in Hudson County, NJ, has received All-American Honorable Mention honors from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for men’s basketball. Mr. Williams is a student at Berkeley College in Newark.
“There has never been a player like Gary at Berkeley College,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “In addition to attending school and playing on the team, Gary has worked the overnight shift at the U.S. Post Office all three years. There is not a more decent or more caring player or role model at Berkeley College, and we look forward to Gary remaining involved in the program following graduation.”
