BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM HELSINGBORG AND MANHATTAN NAMED
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK BY HUDSON VALLEY MEN’S ATHLETIC CONFERENCE 

Berkeley College is proud to announce that freshman midfielder Anton Clas Hakansson of Helsingborg, Sweden, and Manhattan, NY, has been named Rookie of the Week by the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference (HVMAC) for men’s soccer. Mr. Hakansson is a student at the New York City location. 

Mr. Hakansson received the HVMAC honor during the week of October 9 for his performance in a game against Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, during which he tallied three assists and played solid defense. 

“We are extremely proud of Anton for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from him at Berkeley.”
