BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM CENTRAL BRONX RECEIVES ATHLETIC
HONORS FROM HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
Berkeley College is proud to announce that sophomore defender Wendy Valladares of the central Bronx, NY, has received athletic honors from the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for women’s soccer. Ms. Valladares attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.
Ms. Valladares was named to the HVIAC honor roll during the week of October 15 for her performance in a game against Yeshiva University in Manhattan, NY, during which she scored the game-winning goal.
“We are extremely proud of Wendy for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “Her outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from her at Berkeley.”
