BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM BROOKLYN RECEIVES ALL-AMERICAN HONORS
FROM UNITED STATES COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
Berkeley College is proud to announce that senior guard Kaseem Williams of Brooklyn in Kings County, NY, has received All-American honors from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for men’s basketball. Mr. Williams is a student at Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.
“Kaseem is an All-American in every sense of the word,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His steady composure both on and off the court and his willingness to do whatever it takes to put his team in a position to win served as the perfect complement to his teammates. Kaseem could have easily averaged two or three more points per game, but instead he sacrificed scoring opportunities for the good of the team. He will truly be missed.”
The USCAA is a national organization that provides quality athletic competition on a regional and national level while promoting integrity, leadership, scholarship and values of life. The association conducts national championships, recognizes All-Americans and scholar athletes, and promotes USCAA member schools.
A leader in business education for more than 80 years, Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and enrolls more than 7,700 students — including over 800 international students — in its Baccalaureate and Associate degree programs. The College has three New York locations — Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains. In New Jersey there are four locations — Woodland Park, Paramus, Woodbridge and Newark. Berkeley College Online also offers full degree programs. Programs are offered in more than 20 career fields. The website address is www.BerkeleyCollege.edu.
