BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM BROOKLYN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BY HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
Berkeley College is proud to announce that junior forward Dare Aniyikaye of Brooklyn in Kings County, NY, has been named Player of the Week by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for men’s soccer. Mr. Aniyikaye attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.
Mr. Aniyikaye received the HVIAC honor during the week of October 15 for his performance in games against The City College of New York (CCNY) in Manhattan, NY, and the University of Maine – Fort Kent. He scored the game-winning goal against CCNY and the only goal for the Knights against the University of Maine – Fort Kent.
“We are extremely proud of Dare for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from him at Berkeley.”
