BERKELEY COLLEGE ATHLETE FROM BROOKLYN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BY HUDSON VALLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
Berkeley College is proud to announce that senior midfielder Abdelwahab Mohamed of Brooklyn in Kings County, NY, has been named Player of the Week by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) for men’s soccer. Mr. Mohamed attends Berkeley College in Midtown Manhattan.
Mr. Mohamed received the HVIAC honor during the week of October 1 for his performance in games against Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, and The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He scored two goals, including the game-winning goal against Sarah Lawrence College.
“We are extremely proud of Abdelwahab for this well-deserved recognition,” said Brian Maher, Berkeley College Athletic Director. “His outstanding performance is a result of hard work and dedication and we expect more great things from him at Berkeley.”
