BERKELEY COLLEGE ASSOCIATES AND STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN MAKING
STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK IN BROOKLYN

Photo Caption: Berkeley College associates and students recently participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk held in Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Approximately 35,000 people took part in the walk that raised $1.1 million in support of the American Cancer Society’s fight to end breast cancer. As part of the Berkeley Cares initiative, associates and students are encouraged to give back to the community by assisting charities in the critical areas of food, shelter, health and student success. Participating in the walk (left to right) are Berkeley College students Graciela Contreras of Yonkers; Marlene Bielicki of Manhattan; Suley Vega of the Bronx; Nalesha Narine of Queens Village, Queens; Eirka Hidalgo of Woodside, Queens; and Bethzaida Torres of the Bronx.
