With her is Kelly Peterfriend, BCSCA Awards Chairperson, and Supervisor, Counseling, Northern Highlands Regional High School, who presented the award. The “Friend of Guidance” award recipient is a person who has provided service or support to school counselors and/or the mission of BCSCA. In presenting the award, Ms. Peterfriend said, “Gretchen is amazing. She is thoughtful beyond words on a professional and personal level, always there, along with Berkeley College, to support our organization.”


Ms. Orsini’s many civic commitments include: member of the BCSCA 2017-18 Executive Board, and the Executive Board of the Passaic County School Counselor Association; Vice President of the Morris County School Counselor Association; and past president of the New Jersey Business/Technology Education Association. Ms. Orsini also is a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling and the New Jersey School Counselor Association.
