President Dario A. Cortes, PhD, is pleased to announce that Berkeley College has established an Office of Institutional Advancement and External Relations, and he has appointed Lily Sidorovich as Senior Vice President to oversee these vital areas for the College.
“The purpose of the creation of the Office of Institutional Advancement and External Relations is to strategically unite functional areas that are responsible for various aspects of alumni relations and external, corporate and governmental relations for Berkeley College,” said Dr. Cortes. “Ms. Sidorovich brings the ability to work with both our internal and external constituents to raise the level of awareness of Berkeley College as a premier career focused institution of higher learning,” he added.
Ms. Sidorovich is a business executive with 28 years of experience in marketing, brand imaging, product development and manufacturing. She most recently was President of All American Apparel where she oversaw the launch of the Army Brand sportswear collection, a ground-breaking collaboration between a fashion garment manufacturing company and the US government. Prior to that position she was the owner of Mobile Eight Apparel Corporation, a company she co-founded in 1994.
Ms. Sidorovich currently serves on the Fathers Day/Mothers Day Councils of NYC and is a member of Fashion Group International, Inc. She also served on the Berkeley College Board of Trustees from 1991 to 2009. An avid marathoner, Ms. Sidorovich was a leading fund raiser for the NY Road Runners Club Team for Kids, a charitable foundation serving inner-city youth.
Ms. Sidorovich was featured in “The Women of Menswear” in the Daily News Record, and received the YWCA-NYC Women Achievers Award in 2003.  She also was the recipient of the Berkeley College Alumna of the Year Award in 1991.
